Anuvu has appointed satellite industry veteran Amy Horan as its Chief People Officer. Horan will partner with the executive leadership team to enhance a competitive talent strategy, reporting to Christian Mezger, EVP and Chief Financial Officer.
Horan’s focus areas will include building a talent management and development strategy focused on inclusivity and ensuring a rewards structure that is both competitive and comprehensive. She will also lead Anuvu’s global real estate and workplace department.
“Anuvu is experiencing an exciting period of global growth across multiple verticals,” said Horan. “As a passionate people leader, it’s an exciting opportunity to work with this leadership team on the continued evolution of Anuvu’s talent attraction, development, and retention efforts. I am thrilled to join such a people-oriented organization to help advance our growth.”
Horan brings 25 years of global leadership experience in a variety of industries such as satellite services, government contracting and aerospace. She joins Anuvu from Sierra Space, where she managed talent strategy, organizational effectiveness, and culture for the fast-growing space startup. In addition to overseeing Sierra Space’s rapid growth, Horan also helped the company build out its human resource structure to support this growth, including the learning and development framework and total rewards strategy. Earlier in her career, Horan worked in people services at CenturyLink, DaVita, Janus Capital and Newmont Corporation.
“Amy has had diverse experiences shaping teams and growing organizational talent,” said Mezger. “As we continue to identify new areas of opportunity within our talent strategy, she will be a tremendous asset to the Anuvu team.”
