Nominations Open for 2024 Leadership Awards at SoCal Women’s Leadership Summit

Women in Technology: Hollywood Foundation (WiTH) is thrilled to announce that nominations are now open for the 2024 Leadership Awards, to be presented at the 7th Annual SoCal Women’s Leadership Summit on Friday, Nov. 8, co-located with the annual Infinity Festival.

The conference and awards will take place at the iconic Avalon Theater in Hollywood, Calif.

The Leadership Awards are a highlight of WiTH’s largest fundraising event of the year, celebrating individuals who have made significant contributions to the tech industry and have exemplified outstanding leadership, mentorship, and community engagement.

Being WiTH’s 10th anniversary this year, the organization has themed the event “Together WiTH.” It promises a day filled with inspiring discussions on crucial topics such as verifying truth in the age of misinformation, understanding and managing neurodiversity in the workplace, career trajectories in the age of AI, and more. WiTH’s goal is to inform and inspire attendees, fostering a community of support and empowerment for women in technology.

WiTH invites you to nominate exceptional leaders who have made a difference in professional development, mentoring, and community engagement.

Your nominations help WiTH recognize and honor those who are driving change and making a lasting impact in the industry.

This year’s event will be dedicated to the memory of Cass Warner, a visionary and influential figure in the entertainment industry, whose legacy continues to inspire many.

Cass Warner, the granddaughter of Warner Bros. co-founder Harry Warner, was a renowned filmmaker, author, and advocate for women in the industry. She dedicated her life to preserving the Warner family legacy while also championing diversity and inclusion in Hollywood. Her passing has left a profound void in the community, and WiTH honors her contributions by dedicating this year’s SoCal Women’s Leadership Summit to her memory.

Cass’s passion for storytelling and her relentless pursuit of equality set a powerful example for all of us, and her impact on the industry will be felt for generations to come. WiTH will celebrate her life and work, drawing inspiration from her remarkable achievements and unwavering spirit.

WiTH is dedicated to creating pathways for women in technology, from Girl Scouts to women transitioning into tech careers. WiTH’s collaborative efforts with other non-profit organizations ensure that it provides support for all ages and build an inclusive community where everyone is accepted and encouraged to grow.
