This week we begin to take a look at the deep, personal relationship that WiTH has with our community. The “Impact of WiTH” is meant to tell YOUR story and how we’ve made an impact.
Please tell your story by submitting here, and we start with our president, Christina Aguilera, who is the Vice President of Product, Enterprise Technology, at Crunchyroll.
Leading with Purpose: My Path Alongside Women in Technology: Hollywood Foundation (WiTH)
As someone who has spent over two decades breaking barriers and driving innovation in the technology sector, I’ve always believed that our work should be about more than just results — it should be about impact.
Throughout my career, from leading digital transformations at Disney and Amazon Studios to shaping industry standards in asset management, I’ve been driven by the desire to make a difference, not just in the organizations I lead, but in the lives of the people I serve.
Five years ago, I stepped into a role that has defined my passion: president of the Women in Technology: Hollywood Foundation. At WiTH, our mission is clear: to inspire, empower, and educate the next generation of women in technology.
We work tirelessly to break down barriers and provide opportunities for underrepresented women to thrive in the media and entertainment technology community. For me, this work is personal.
I’ve been fortunate to lead initiatives that bring transformative change, from mentorship programs that guide young women starting their careers to professional development opportunities for those re-entering the workforce.
I’ve seen the incredible impact our programs have on women, who came to us at a crossroads in her life and found not just a job in tech, but a career path that offered them stability and hope. I’ve also seen young girls light up, realizing for the first time that they, too, can have a future in technology.
It’s these moments that fuel my commitment. I know firsthand how isolating it can be to be the only woman in the room, and I’ve faced the challenges that come with proving your worth in an industry that often undervalues diverse voices.
That’s why I am so passionate about creating spaces where women are not just present but are seen, heard, and celebrated.
Our upcoming SoCal Women’s Leadership Summit on Nov. 8 is an opportunity for us to come together, celebrate our achievements, and raise the crucial funds we need to keep making a difference.
This event is more than just a fundraiser — it’s a chance for us to invest in the future of women in technology. It’s about building a community where every woman, no matter her background, has the chance to succeed.
I invite you to join us in this mission. Whether as a sponsor, donor, or advocate, your support will directly impact lives, opening doors for women who need it most. Together, we can continue to empower women, inspire future leaders, and drive a more inclusive future in technology.
Let’s make an impact. Join us on Nov. 8 and be part of the change. To register for the event, click here.
